The Tetranex Process Engineering Team have in-depth knowledge and hold significant experience within a wide variety of industries and applications. This includes involvement in all stages of project development including project scoping, conceptual studies, Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) as well as detailed engineering.
Our in-depth experience at executing project scopes of varying sizes ensures that we design a fit-for purpose solution that is safe, reliable and cost effective. The Tetranex Process Engineering team's experience ranges from small operational improvement projects to greenfield facility designs.

- Thorough understanding of relief and overpressure scenarios that have developed in-house calculation tools.
- Advanced knowledge of Honeywell UniSim and Aspen HYSYS for process design and flare system modeling.
- Awareness of impacts of design changes to other disciplines and willingness to cooperate to get a solution that satisfies all involved.
- Heavily integrated into the deliverables of the multi-disciplinary engineering team. Involved in the design/execution/selection of equipment and piping specifications, sizing/selection of in-line instrumentation, development of control narratives and shut down keys (SDKs).
- Extensive Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA) and Overpressure Risk Assessment (ORA) experience with regards to participation and facilitation.
- Seamless integration with client process engineers to help define scope/resolve problems to develop a fit for purpose solution.
- Excellent knowledge of general industry guidelines, client specifications, local jurisdictional codes/standards and collaboration with operations personnel to arrive at fit-for-purpose design strategies.
- Wide variety of in-house developed tools and guidelines to aid in process design capabilities.
- Familiar with Aspen Exchanger Design and Rating (EDR) and HTRI for heat exchanger and air cooler preliminary sizing and design checks.
